PRACTICAL GUIDE
Read minimum requirements without treating them as a benchmark
A publisher’s specification is a starting reference, not a measured prediction of performance on your exact device and settings.
Compare the relevant edition
Check the operating system, processor, graphics hardware, memory and storage for the version you plan to buy. A similar game name or a sequel does not imply identical requirements.
Keep the client separate
Older listings can retain legacy operating-system requirements. The current store client has its own support conditions, which must be checked separately. Neither label establishes support for every compatibility layer.
Consider scale and settings
A large factory or city can create a different workload from the opening scene. No frame-rate or battery-life results are claimed in this publication.
